Factory Game day 2

Today was Day two in the factory game. We decided that Coner's "Hursh" doll was the best. Hursh was a handicaped cow who had a stub for one leg and a twisted nose. When I passed my eyes over him, to me it looked like a evil doll. To start with Mr. Colye named Sabie the manager. We were diveded into three groups. I joined the assembly group. After lots of hard work, mutiny attempts, and screaming, we got 68 dolls. The main difference from last time was that we used assembly and each had a specialization. this made us go a lot faster. Also unlike last time we were all doing the same dolls, so as time passed we became experts in our areas. It was just like a factory.

Factory Game Day 1

As I got my paper, I rushed to cut the shapes out. As my half mangled shapes fell on the table I quickly attempted to arrange them into a shape. My original intention was Claud from South Park but too many pieces were left. I tried many other opions like a sun, a bear and etc. Seconds turned to minutes, minutes to 1/3 hours. Seeing the severe shortage of time, I quickly arrange a face. In a desperate attempt to use the remianing pieces, I glued them all in one corner and color black over it to represnt the hair. Finally my messy masterpiece was done!!! When everyone was done Mr. Coyle put them all on the board and belive me, there were all sorts of shapes. With a quick glance at the board I could tell that mine was far from the best.

Roller Coaster

As the cart climbed what seemed like a perpetual lenth of track with the monotonous ket ket ket ... sound. .Suddenly the cart stopped in a deadly silence, I wished I had stayed at the arcade instead of coming here. Then I heard the front most passengers scream and the cart zoomed down. I was sqeezed with un-imagenable pressure as the kinetic energy of the cart increased rapidly. Soon I was lurched forward and the sour bile in the back of my throat came rushing in my mouth as the cart suddenly changed it's course upwards. I knew the potenial energy was building up again.

My Gang

My gang would be my good friends .My gang consisting of Barath, Raag, Varun, Vishal, and Shuk are all very humorous and joyful people. Most of us have been great friends since 1st or 2nd grade. We are all part of the " gang" becuase we are all friendly and carefree. Besides while in class, none of us are ever serious. Every one else finds us as strange and this keeps even closer together. When ever I need any help I can always count on my friends. Unfortuanatly 3 of the 6 of us are leaving this year and I am sure that will hit hard.

Fruit Roll up

The sour and sweet smell entered my nose as I rip open my packet greedily. The blue and purple color were so bright and tempting. As a pulled out sticky fruit roll from the crinkled wraper yet another translucent wraper coated the roll. I impatiently pull out the cellophane as the saliva started to collect in my mouth and finally the prize stood before me unwraped. The moment it touched my mouth the sour taste got enfused in my taste buds.

Necessity is the mother of invention

I think the saying necessity is the mother of invention means that when something is needed it is created or invented. Take the light bulb. Before Thomas Edison invented the light bulb there was a great need for it. People could only work with a oil lamp which generated heat and smoke and required you to fill it with oil. This was too inconvenient and there was a NECESSITY for a new INVENTION. Thus this necessity caused or mothered the new invention. Now lets face it, human are never happy with what they have and then these necessities turn into luxuries. But what ever these level of the necessity may be, it always leads to inventions!sd!

I learn stuff best kinesthetic . When I see videos or listen I cannot concentrate. But if you get a sheet to complete you have to finish it. Also, when you watch a movie or listen you have to take notes so you study for tests. If you do a work sheet you can study straight from it.

Feed back August 6-10

-I think one major highlight was meeting with my friends after almost two whole months. Also I was excited to meet my new teachers and to see whether they were good or bad.
- I was glad to now that my teacher was Mr. Coyle because my sister had told me he was the best teacher. Also I found the class very interesting because we were always doing something new.
-My major goal is to improve my writing by adding description. I also want to improve my grammar and spelling because that was always a weakness of mine.
